Say NO to Resume Writers!
🚫 Never outsource your resume writing. That’s right. I won’t write your resume, and there's a monumental reason for it! In fact, I'm strongly against someone writing resumes for anybody. I offer help in learning how to do this and how to target your efforts for a job you want. I'll go over every word in your resume and absolutely help you phrase it to make it focused and bring out the main points, but YOU are the one who will write it, and here's why:
1. Your self-confidence is at stake here. You won’t be able to get a job you couldn’t craft a resume for.
2. Once you learn the multifaceted approach to resume writing that I teach, you will effortlessly reuse this skill over and over – as you grow in your career over the years, or if you change your career completely, in any industry.
My approach to resume writing, and all other aspects of career help, is very different from most career coaches. I never offer to write resumes because it's a disservice to you, literally. Make it personal, make it authentic, make it tailored to your specific needs. I am here to help every step of the way! 💼✨ #CareerCoach #ResumeWriting #PersonalDevelopment"

Ask Insightful Questions
At the end of the interview, ask thoughtful questions that show your interest in the role and company. For example, "What are the biggest challenges someone in this position would face in the first 90 days?"
Become a Solution!
While it's important to ask questions at the end of the interview to show your interest in the company and the position, it's even more important how you'll make the interviewer feel after you leave the room. Therefore, at the end of the interview, make sure to emphasize why you are the right person for the role and show your enthusiasm. Smile, be genuine and friendly! Remember, how you made people feel can sometimes be more memorable than your qualifications.
Quantify Your Achievements
Whenever possible, use numbers to quantify your achievements on your resume. For example, "increased sales by 15% in 6 months" or "managed a team of 8 employees". Concrete facts and figures make your accomplishments more impactful.
Research the Company Before the Interview
Before your interview, thoroughly research the company's website, social media, and news coverage. Understand their products/services, mission, culture, and recent news. This background knowledge will help you explain why you're excited about the role and company.
